The purpose of these forums is to enable fast, efficient communication and provide an area for some nice discussions among BScBA students on just about anything. It can also be used as a means to clear up confusion. You are able to direct questions or notices on both big and small issues to the whole student body in a smarter way through these forums than spamming e-mails to everyone.

The forum is currently dead, atleast people were posting something, when the cool nicks were enabled
Make it so that, you can use a nick and then you have to put your real name in the avatar (?) = under your text

Whats the difference? Just put your real name as a nick, and then post the cool custom one as a signature/avatar??
Also, according to your logic, the school e-mail and facebook should be dead, because people use their real names.

It has been decided that custom nicks are allowed from now on on the forums. However, you need to indicate your real name in the signature of your posts.

This is great news. We can now start pushing the forum usage also from the student side. A question though: How does one change his / her username? Mine seems to be locked...

There probably isn't a way for you to change it, if you cant find a way (I trust your skills in these kind of things). But I can change them for you if so desired.
